Peter Villars Sportsground Maintenance is a family business based in Cwmbran, South Wales, established in 1988 the by Peter Villars as a predominately landscaping based company the company now specialises purely on the maintenance of sports turf surfaces. Stephen John joined the business as Partner in 1990 and his experience of operating machinery from his agricultural background again helped the business to grow and expand. Iestyn John was the latest addition to the business as a partner in 2010 following the completion of various sports turf qualifications at college.

Meet the Team

Steve John

Steve joined the company in 1990 as a partner with Peter. Steve has an agricultural background and was in farming for many years before he joined the business. Steve has many years experience in the use of machinery and is a highly skilled and experienced member of the team. Steve has a great deal of experience and knowledge in the maintenance of sports turf surfaces.

Peter Villars

Peter started up the company in 1988 when he was made redundant from selling agricultural machinery. Peter has always had a passion for sports turf maintenance had maintained the local cricket square for many years as a hobby. He then decided the set up his own business and maintain sports surfaces full time. Over the years the business has grown from strength to strength. Peter has a wealth of experience in sports turf management and is well respected in the sports turf community.
